As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences for a mature project, complex program, or emerging area. Your expertise will be essential in driving design strategy, influencing product direction, and crafting innovative solutions that address user needs and business objectives. As a UX Designer, you will:

  • Collaborate with engineers to effectively communicate design intent and ensure seamless implementation of design specifications.
  • Leverage data and metrics to evaluate product impact, understand user trends, and analyze the competitive landscape to inform design solutions.
  • Drive design improvements based on user testing and stakeholder feedback, ensuring alignment between product goals and user needs.
  • Build consensus across teams and gain stakeholder support for design strategy, effectively communicating the design approach and addressing potential challenges.
  • Contribute to project prioritization and resource allocation, aligning with larger project goals and expanding responsibilities within the product team.
  • Create innovative design solutions that address user, product, and business problems, anticipating design constraints and communicating the rationale behind design choices.
  • Champion a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products, fostering collaboration and generating support for a design vision.
  • Guide UX designers in creating design concepts, conducting user research, and developing appropriate design directions based on research insights.
  • Apply, adapt, and define UX design frameworks, leveraging design tools to visualize ideas, develop mock-ups and prototypes, and tailor deliverables to product requirements.
  • Propose improvements to UX by analyzing user needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving constraints in strategy, product, or technology.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in data analysis, synthesis, and planning
  • Knowledge of product design principles and methodologies
  • Experience with interactive technology and UX research methodologies
  • Understanding of the product development lifecycle
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and understanding of user behavior
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
  • Systems thinking and a dedication to craftsmanship

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with motion design and vendor management
  • Proven ability to act as a change agent and influence product direction
  • Exceptional knowledge of motion, design, and prototyping tools (e.g., After Effects, Figma)
  • Prior experience working on a research, emerging experiences, or innovation team
  • Agency or consultancy experience with multiple clients
  • Experience designing, prototyping, and shipping motion and interaction for UX
  • Up-to-date knowledge of interaction patterns, capabilities, and technologies around UX motion
  • Strong individual contributor mentality with a startup mindset
  • Design or Art School education

This role is a temporary position until Mar 2026. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $98.63 – $124.07 /hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
