Aquent is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Client Services to join an award-winning performance marketing agency based in the UK that specialises in creating commercially focused SEO, PPC, web design and social media strategies.
The aim of the role is to help refine and improve customer experience, offer strategic insights, find additional opportunities for strategy development and ultimately help retain customers. The current client services team consists of two account managers and an account executive.
You will be managing some of the agency’s larger accounts, as well as working as part of the leadership team to continue to steer the business forward. Good commercial understanding is vital. A solid understanding of Search, social, email marketing and web development is also necessary for the role.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Leading the Account Management team
- Retain current customer base with an improved customer experience
- Partnering with the Managing Director and Leadership Team in forecasting and building the new business pipeline
- Refine existing client services processes, contact reports and systems
- Contact prospects on a regular basis, manage follow-ups, and secure introductions with senior management teams
- Strategically map out the client services strategy, working closely with MD
- Develop business proposals for new and existing customers
Requirements
- Outstanding new business and client facing skills
- Highly experienced in account management and account growth
- Solid experience in digital and web-based projects – SEO, PPC, Social & Web Development
- Able to successfully lead senior-level client negotiations
- Excellent communication, pitching, and presenting skills
- Proactive, focused, and resilient
- Commercially astute, and able to build successful relationships with clients and customers
