We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in orchestrating critical seasonal initiatives and promotional campaigns across a vast international portfolio. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to be at the heart of our client’s digital success, directly shaping the consumer experience and driving operational excellence for high-visibility moments.
This is a 6-months fixed term salaried position contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party. It is an itnterim position for a parental leave, however there is the possibility for extension. The role offers c. €47K /annum (pro rata) – 40 hrs/week.
Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered.
What You Will Do
You will be instrumental in executing operational tasks that support our client’s business strategy for seasonal digital initiatives, key moments, and promotional campaigns across 30+ countries. Your work will ensure a seamless consumer journey and directly contribute to the success of high-impact digital activations.
- Roadmap & Project Ownership: Own the seasonal moments project roadmap, driving clarity and accountability across cross-functional digital teams.
- Process Optimization: Optimize processes to enable best-in-class collaboration and seamless end-to-end execution by building strong upstream partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Work-Back Plans: Communicate clear, actionable work-back plans and timelines for all major digital campaign moments.
- Readiness & Tracking: Drive readiness through project tracker and roadmap creation aligned with core business requirements.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure alignment on key digital promotional moments through smooth communication in dedicated cross-functional forums.
- End-to-End Campaign Execution: Orchestrate the execution of key initiatives and promotions, ensuring a flawless consumer journey across all EMEA countries—including pre-live testing, real-time troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Workflow Refinement: Continuously refine workflows and improve operational processes to enable smoother promo planning and activation.
- Assortment & System Setup: Monitor pre-season and in-season inclusion/exclusion product lists to implement accurate assortment strategies by setting up systems correctly.
- Promo Code Execution: Manage promotion code execution (creation, testing, and validation) in close collaboration with Tech Operations.
Who You Will Work With
You will be an integral part of the Digital Platform Operations team, reporting to the Manager, Digital Moments & Agile Initiatives. Your role involves close collaboration with core operations teams and a wide range of functions, including Brand/Marketing, Digital Platform, Digital Experience, Merchandising, Technology, Supply Chain, and Legal. You will also interact with teams across different geographies, maintaining strong partnerships with our global team.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in direct-to-consumer retail e-commerce with a specific focus on operational process improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills, passion for details, and ability to produce on-time quality deliverables in a deadline-driven environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Proven track record in promotional setups, Go-Live QA testing, system validation, and maintaining accurate product inclusion/exclusion lists.
- Ability to work in a flexible environment and manage ad-hoc requests in an independent manner.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
- Flexibility in working hours to support the business (e.g., weekends, holidays).
