About the Role

Are you an organized, flexible multitasker with a passion for digital commerce and operational excellence? We are seeking a Platform Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring a flawless consumer journey across digital platforms. In this exciting position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end readiness and activation of digital product launches and seasonal assortments for a specific category across various regions. Your precision and collaborative spirit will be crucial in bringing exciting new products to market and enhancing consumer engagement.

This is a 6-months fixed term salaried position contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party. It is an itnterim position for a parental leave, however there is the possibility for extension. The role offers c. €47K /annum (pro rata) – 40 hrs/week. 

Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered. 

What You Will Do

You will own and execute the operational delivery of product launches and seasonal readiness for your assigned category, ensuring a seamless consumer experience. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end operational execution of product launches for your category across all regions.
  • Drive assortment readiness by leveraging business and operational insights.
  • Ensure accurate product activation, deactivation, grouping, and attribution for the digital assortment.
  • Oversee timely delivery of digital assets and inventory, partnering with cross-functional teams (Planning, Merchandising, Brand, etc.) to align on assortment planning and key initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks by coordinating with regional and global stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.
  • Own and execute exclusive launch experiences to deepen consumer engagement and maximize demand.
  • Participate in key trade meetings and seasonal planning gates as the primary operations point of contact, providing operational insights and ensuring delivery for strategic priorities.
  • Continuously refine workflows and processes to drive efficiency and accountability.
  • Leverage data and digital tools to inform decision-making and process improvements.

Who You Will Work With

As a valued member of the Digital Operations team, you will report to the Platform Operations Senior Manager. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with core operations teams and broader groups such as Digital Experience, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Technology, Pricing, and Supply Chain. You will also interact with teams in other geographies and maintain ongoing partnerships with the global team.

What You Bring 

  • Min. 3 years of professional experience, specifically focused on direct-to-consumer (DTC) retail e-commerce and operational process execution.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work on time while adeptly balancing multiple priorities.
  • Experience navigating enterprise e-commerce management tools. 
  • Flexibility in working hours to support the business, including weekends and holidays.
