Ignite Marketing Performance as a Markeing Data Analyst
Are you a seasoned Data Analyst with a passion for marketing and a knack for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join a pivotal team, where your expertise will directly influence marketing strategy and investment optimization. This is an exciting opportunity to design and build scalable data solutions, apply cutting-edge AI tools, and potentially contribute to the development of a hybrid Marketing Mix Modelling framework, significantly impacting how marketing effectiveness is measured and understood. Your work will empower stakeholders with clear visibility into performance, driving smarter decisions and contributing directly to the company’s success.
This is a 6-months fixed term salaried position contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party. The role offers c. €60K / annum (pro rata) – 40 hrs/week. There is the possibility for extension.
Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered.
What You’ll Do:
* Design, build, and maintain robust Power BI dashboards that illuminate marketing performance, channel contribution, and return on investment for diverse stakeholders.
* Develop and manage data pipelines using dbt and analytical datasets in BigQuery, with all code meticulously managed in Git, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for all analytical use cases.
* Integrate and apply AI tooling, including agentic solutions, to dramatically enhance efficiency in analytical workflows, dashboard development, and data preparation processes.
* Conduct advanced statistical analyses across various marketing channels, addressing complex performance questions beyond standard reporting.
* Navigate and master complex and sometimes imperfect data sources, including data from Customer Journey Analytics and other marketing platforms, applying strong problem-solving and data-preparation skills.
* Translate sophisticated analytical results into compelling insights, intuitive visualizations, and impactful presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Collaborate seamlessly with fellow data analysts, data scientists, and product teams within the marketing domain, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and innovation.
* Should the opportunity arise, contribute to the creation of a hybrid Marketing Mix Modelling framework and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal analysts, shaping future analytical capabilities.
What You’ll Bring:
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within a marketing or media measurement context within a commercial, consumer-focused environment.
* Hands-on expertise across our core data stack: Google BigQuery, dbt, Git, and Power BI. Proficiency in all four is essential.
* Strong proficiency in Power BI, encompassing data modeling, DAX, and the design of business-centric dashboards.
* Advanced proficiency in SQL and dbt for efficient data transformation and pipeline development.
* Hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modelling or other marketing attribution frameworks.
* Direct, hands-on experience with Customer Journey Analytics.
* A solid understanding of statistical analysis, including regression modeling and hypothesis testing, specifically applied to marketing performance questions.
* Exceptional data storytelling and communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable insights.
* Experience applying AI tooling (e.g., agentic AI systems, LLM-based assistants) to enhance efficiency in analytics and dashboard development.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Familiarity with Databricks, as we are exploring potential applications in this area.
* Proficiency in Python for analytical scripting and statistical modeling.
* Experience working in an agile, cross-functional environment and managing large, complex datasets.
* A track record of mentoring or training others in advanced analytics methods.
