Aquent is partnering with a leading global company, renowned for its commitment to delivering well-designed products efficiently and sustainably, to find a visionary Data Quality professional. This is an incredible opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data quality, specifically within the critical Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) domain, influencing strategic decisions and ensuring data integrity across a vast digital ecosystem.

**About the Role**
As a Data Quality Specialist, you will be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining impeccable data standards for ESG-related information. Your work will directly support crucial sustainability, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and underpin robust ESG reporting requirements. This is your chance to bring innovative data quality practices to life, educate teams, and build a foundation of trust and reliability that empowers our client’s mission.

This is a 6-months salaried position, with the possibility for extension. 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with the unrestricted right to work in The Netherlands will be considered

**What You’ll Do**

* Translate complex data quality concepts and best practices into actionable strategies tailored for the ESG context.
* Design, develop, and implement both business and technical data quality rules, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Create compelling ESG data quality visualizations and dashboards to monitor performance and drive insights.
* Champion data quality management by educating and empowering digital teams across the organization.
* Collaborate closely with diverse disciplines including Data Engineering, Product Management, Data and Technology Architecture, Sustainability, and People & Culture to embed data quality best practices.
* Foster strong relationships across various domains to continuously enhance data quality performance and utilization.
* Contribute to building reliable data products and a robust data foundation essential for comprehensive ESG initiatives.

**What You’ll Bring**

* **Experience:** 4-7 years of experience in data-focused roles, with a strong emphasis on data quality.
* **Expertise in Data Quality:** Deep understanding of modern data quality practices, strategies, and their operationalization within digital solutions.
* **Technical & Business Acumen:** Proven ability to define and implement both business and technical data quality rules, effectively bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
* **Visualization Skills:** Proficiency with data quality monitoring and visualization tools to present complex data insights clearly.
* **Collaborative Spirit:** A genuine passion for contributing to cross-functional teams and extended networks, simplifying processes, and aligning efforts to achieve strategic ambitions.
* **Impact-Driven Mindset:** Motivated by the potential of data to create positive change and enhance the lives of many, aligning with our client’s core values.
