This is a 6 months fixed term salaried position contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party. There is the possibility for extension.
Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered.
**About the Role:**
In this pivotal role, you will be a key driver in enhancing our content delivery system, focusing on the critical intersection of UX writing and global content adaptation. You will dive deep into existing translation and localization operations, identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing innovative solutions that ensure consistency and quality across all markets. Working collaboratively with language service providers, UX content and design teams, and product and engineering, you’ll manage processes, assure quality, and refine workflows. Your efforts will not only streamline operations but also demonstrate tangible cost savings through a more connected and efficient system.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Evaluate and optimize existing end-to-end translation and localization operations to enhance consistency across global markets.
* Contribute to writing clear, concise UX copy and collaborate with international markets on its translation and adaptation.
* Manage translation processes, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
* Implement and refine workflow optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
* Collaborate effectively with language service providers, UX content and design teams, and product and engineering stakeholders.
* Define and track success metrics to measure the impact and cost savings of streamlined content processes.
* Act as a strategic thinker, blending technical expertise with creative problem-solving in UX writing, translation, and process management.
* Communicate complex process improvements and their business value to diverse stakeholders.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 4+ years of experience in UX writing, with a strong focus on translation, localization, and/or content project management.
* Demonstrated excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
* Proven ability to establish content processes and define clear success metrics.
* Solid understanding of UX writing, translation, and localization best practices within a global environment, preferably within retail / consumer goods / e-commerce.
* Familiarity with ticketing platforms like JIRA or similar tools for tracking and managing requests.
* Experience with translation tools such as Phrase or comparable platforms.
