Are you ready to transform raw data into powerful insights that drive strategic decisions for a leading global organization? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our client’s team, focusing on optimizing our vital Recovery and Recommerce processes. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our data infrastructure, developing critical reporting tools, and providing actionable recommendations that directly impact our operational efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Your expertise will empower our teams to make data-driven choices, contributing significantly to our overall success.
This is a full-time position for an intial 6 months fixed term contract, with possibility to extend.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with the unrestricted right to work in The Netherlands will be considered. No relocation and no sponsorship can be offered.
What You’ll Do:
As a key contributor, you will leverage your analytical prowess to support our operational teams by:
- Designing and Developing Robust Reports: Create, build, and maintain high-quality data visualizations and reports using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all deliverables. You will also optimize report performance and adhere to best practices.
- Translating Data into Actionable Insights: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and transform complex business questions into data-driven solutions. You will provide insightful recommendations specifically for our Recovery and Recommerce processes.
- Providing Dedicated Team Support: Offer direct support to our operational teams, fostering a collaborative environment, assisting with data-related inquiries, and contributing to efficient, data-driven workflows.
- Ensuring Data Reliability: Monitor, triage, and resolve issues related to data reports. You will troubleshoot data discrepancies, report errors, and performance bottlenecks, working with data engineering or source system teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Clear communication of resolutions to affected users is key.
- Becoming a Process Expert: Gain a deep understanding of the Recovery and Recommerce processes, identifying key metrics and business rules. You will become a subject matter expert on the data flows within these critical areas.
What You’ll Bring:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Power BI for report development and maintenance.
- Strong command of BigQuery and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data modeling principles and practices.
Analytical & Communication Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in data storytelling to convey complex insights clearly and compellingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder collaboration and issue resolution.
