As the Resource Manager of the Brand team, you will be responsible for the efficient resourcing of award-winning creative projects, ensuring smooth processes around allocation of work and freelance staff engagement. The Promos team is a big part of our client’s creative function – their job is to intrigue, entice, excite and sell by bringing content to life through promos and AV assets.
You will work closely with Creative Directors to establish forward planning for the team, manage freelance needs, and track resource costs against agreed project budgets and retainers.
What you will do
- Manage resource allocation and implement reporting and data analysis using internal resourcing tools, driving adoption within the team.
- Lead resource and budget meetings with Design teams, Heads of Business, Creative Directors and Executive Producers.
- Oversee the scaling up and down of freelance needs, ensuring bookings are made in line with project budgets.
- Ensure each project is tracked against budget, raising overspend and underspend across the year.
- Lead recruitment for both permanent and freelance roles.
- Track team utilisation and capacity planning across the agency.
- Establish and build relationships with internal teams, reconciling differing needs whilst leading the allocation of resource to build the best teams for creative excellence.
- Conduct talent audits to identify gaps and source talent aligned with strategic objectives.
What you will bring
- Preferably 5+ years’ experience in a recruiting and resourcing function at a creative agency or broadcaster.
- A planning/forward-thinking approach with attention to detail.
- A strong analytical, process-driven and methodological mindset.
- Experience of communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experienced with project or event scheduling software.
