Project Overview:
We are seeking a freelance expert in innovative pattern development for performance apparel. The mission: create advanced physical and digital patterns for high-performance garments, ensuring precision, production readiness, and alignment with premium industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze technical documentation, machine instructions, and safety regulations to secure flawless execution.
• Perform draping on standard mannequins to establish design lines.
• Translate draped concepts into flat patterns and refine block patterns.
• Convert physical patterns into digital formats (DXF, PDF, Gerber, Illustrator) and vice versa.
• Deliver patterns with measurement accuracy, within given tolerances and techpacks.
• Provide expert consultancy to engineers, product developers, and design partners during the development process.
• Proactively share project updates and insights, ensuring smooth collaboration.

Project Goals:
Delivery of production-standard apparel patterns (physical and digital) to feed into innovation showcases, creative direction exhibitions, and photo shoots (Sept–Nov 2025).

Profile Requirements:

• Strong track record in high-performance apparel pattern cutting and development.
• Advanced skills in digital pattern software (DXF, Gerber, Illustrator).
• Ability to work independently while acting as an expert consultant for cross-functional teams.
• On-site availability in Bavaria, Germany.

Timeline:

• October–November 2025: Key delivery milestones aligned with brand innovation and creative showcases.
