We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Adtech professional to join our Martech team.
This pivotal role will empower our marketers to acquire the right customers at optimal value, directly influencing our growth trajectory and user engagement. You will be at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge advertising technology, ensuring our stack is robust, scalable, and delivers measurable results across all acquisition and re-engagement campaigns. Your expertise will directly translate into enhanced targeting, optimized spend, and deeper insights, driving significant business impact.
**About the Role:**
This Adtech Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data, platforms, and digital marketing within a global environment. You will combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our advertising technology stack is stable, scalable, and delivering measurable impact across acquisition and re-engagement campaigns. You will be a key player in shaping our performance marketing capabilities, driving innovation, and enabling data-driven decisions that propel our growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Enable the seamless flow of first-party data into advertising platforms to power targeting, optimisation, and attribution.
* Support the activation of data out of advertising platforms and Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), ensuring performance insights can be captured, reconciled, and fed back into decision-making.
* Partner with Performance Marketing, Data, and Engineering teams to configure and validate conversion APIs, event attributes, and schema alignment.
* Audit and resolve gaps in tracking, attribution, and data activation to improve match rates and optimisation signals.
* Build a repeatable playbook for scaling new data-driven use cases across markets and channels (audiences, predictive attributes, suppression, value-based bidding).
* Test and roll out advanced features across platforms (e.g., Events API, enhanced conversions, Conversions API upgrades, Tag Gateway).
* Contribute to the design and implementation of a new performance marketing data schema to standardize event usage across channels.
* Champion best practice in event tracking, measurement, and campaign optimisation.
* Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing so Performance Marketing teams can self-serve effectively.
* Act as the subject matter expert for paid channel data activation.
* Provide second-line technical support and troubleshooting for advanced advertising technology issues (event mismatches, sync failures, attribution discrepancies).
* Collaborate with Engineering/Data teams to ensure pipelines, APIs, and integrations remain stable, scalable, and privacy-compliant.
* Stay abreast of industry and vendor innovation (e.g., cookie deprecation, ATT, privacy changes, new API capabilities), identifying opportunities to strengthen the advertising technology stack.
**Qualifications:**
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Hands-on experience with tag management and analytics platforms (Google Tag Manager, GA4 or similar)
* Proven track record implementing advertising platform integrations (Google CM360)
* Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) for attribution and first-party data activation.
* Experience using data activation tools.
* Technical background: APIs, data schema alignment, troubleshooting event-level data.
* Understanding of performance marketing workflows (audience creation, optimisation, attribution).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data issues into marketing impact.
* Excellent stakeholder management across performance marketing, data, and engineering.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience with server-side tagging and conversion APIs.
* Knowledge of SQL for data validation and investigations.
* Exposure to privacy and compliance considerations (GDPR, ATT, data governance in paid media).
* Experience with marketing data warehouses.
* Experience in financial technology or regulated industries.
* Global/multi-market experience.
