Web Analytics Specialist

Our client is looking for a seasoned Web Analytics Specialist to perform the following job functions:


  • Direct and control the activities of the web analytics function of the Digital Marketing team.
  • Work directly with Media Agencies to properly track and analyze media campaigns for the company's brands and products.
  • Tracks trends and metrics and recommends adjustments to products, services and techniques based on findings.
  • Drive development of core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b tests that drive fundamental improvements to the business.

  • Work directly with the Technology Development Team on implementing analytics for the company's websites.
  • Accountable for requirements development, extracting, tracking and reporting on site performance and quality metrics
  • Directs the development of research goals and methods for gathering and reporting on web data.
  • Oversees metrics gathering and reporting process.
  • Drive the collection and reporting of key performance data, including revenue and margin, to support strategic and daily decision making. Responsible for managing data collection and validation between sales, operations, network, and finance teams.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and (when required) personally perform deep-dives using analytical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
  • Ensures that analyses remain responsive to current user practices and emerging technologies.
  • Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment.
  • Lead the team in creating holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to Senior Management.
    IT Collaboration:
  • Directs the selection, development and enhancements of software applications that extract data from the internet and other primary sources.
  • Responsible for RFPs and vendor selection for new software necessary to deliver strategy.
  • Lead internal initiatives to support business process redesign, gathering requirements from stakeholders, defining system integration priorities, scopes and requirements.
