As a key player in business development, you will proactively identify and connect with potential partners, sparking their interest and guiding them through the initial stages of engagement. You will be instrumental in coordinating strategic follow-up meetings with account managers, ensuring a seamless transition and setting the foundation for long-term success. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport will be critical in fostering positive experiences and accelerating the onboarding process for new businesses. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital commerce by enabling diverse businesses to thrive.
**What you will do:**
* Proactively engage with potential new partners through various outreach methods, including advanced cold calling techniques, to identify growth opportunities.
* Coordinate and schedule follow-up meetings between prospective partners and account managers, facilitating discussions on strategic opportunities and next steps.
* Maintain clear, compelling, and effective communication with potential partners, ensuring a positive experience and a smooth transition to account managers.
* Equip account managers with essential information and context to help them secure new partnerships and onboard new businesses efficiently.
* Leverage strong negotiation and persuasion skills to articulate value and overcome potential objections, driving interest and commitment from prospective partners.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of interactions and progress within CRM tools, ensuring organizational excellence and attention to detail.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong preference for sales or business development experience.
* Advanced interpersonal skills, including proven experience in cold calling and building rapport quickly.
* Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
* Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic, and target-driven environment.
* Intermediate negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of influencing positive outcomes.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience within retail, technology, or e-commerce industries.
* Familiarity with CRM tools for managing client relationships and sales pipelines.
* Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to conduct market research to identify trends and potential leads.
* A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and generating new business opportunities.
