As a Strategy and Operations Lead for News Partnerships, you will play a critical role in shaping the way we collaborate with news organisations around the world. You will be responsible for defining and executing strategic initiatives that enhance our relationship with the news industry, optimizing internal processes, and driving operational excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital media landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Running and improving EMEA, and some global, News Partnerships operational processes (internal comms, briefing processes, partner tiering, annual OpEx planning)
- Working closely with the French, Middle East and Africa team to triage regulatory issues for internal escalation, and prepare exec-level materials (memos, slides) to aide decision making when required
- Provide chief of staff support to France, Middle East & Africa news partnerships director
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or partnership management, preferably within the digital media or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with news organizations or in the media industry is highly desirable.
- Strong spreadsheet and overall analytical skills and mindset
- Working familiarity in professional setting with Google workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Fluent in French or Arabic
