This role will help Lead Marketing efforts for the UK Marketing team, specifically targeting the public sector industry (defense, healthcare, transportation, and more). You will be engaging with senior stakeholders from public sectors; managing an upcoming summit event in November and coordinating numerous other events.
The role involves encouraging Government bodies to adopt AI, with a chance to shape and impact an entire industry. We are looking for someone ambitious with a growth mindset, not coming directly from a public sector marketing role, but someone who has experience in a commercial organisation, operating in a public sector market.
Qualifications:
- B2B marketing experience within the public sector ideally or similar industry vertical.
- 6+ years of relevant marketing experience.
- Extensive event management experience.
- An understanding of how organisations purchase technology.
- Knowledge of AI procurement processes.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Strong and proven project management skills and experience, including managing budgets, agencies, and a complex stakeholder map.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to comfortably interface with all levels of management and to communicate cross-functionally in a structured and clear manner to influence outcomes.
