Job title: Business Development Manager

Pay rate: £300 per day PAYE

Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite 

 

Are you an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for driving growth and establishing strategic partnerships? Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate customer and partner expansion. 

In this role, you’ll navigate a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, utilizing your effective communication skills to manage relationships and develop win-win business plans. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate deals, and drive initiatives to ensure continued success and geographic expansion.

The team is dedicated to delivering a seamless whole-home Wi-Fi experience using mesh technology. They’re not just fixing connectivity; they’re building the smart home of the future, anticipating needs, ensuring safety, and saving energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations, including executives, engineering, legal, and marketing teams.
  • Partner with leaders to forge new strategic partnerships and drive a unified strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, lead business case development, and advocate for customer-centric solutions.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and close new relationships, analysing market data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective partners, articulating compelling value propositions and advocating product innovations.
  • Prepare business reviews, market analyses, and recommendations to maximize territory potential.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track account information, forecast, and prioritize goals.
  • Enhance senior-level decision maker experience and customer experience through tailored recommendations and scalable solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience negotiating software and services agreements.
  • Strong understanding of networking and technical knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies.
  • Several years of experience working with C-level executives and large complex deal negotiations with telecommunications companies/ISPs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and executing corporate/business transactions.
  • Ability to influence organizational decisions at the leadership level.
  • Proven track record of influencing results and overseeing large or complex relationships.
  • Proficiency in an additional European language preferred (Spanish, German, or Italian).
