ADC Talks is a speaker series produced by the Art Director's Club (NYC) at Apple stores around the world. The event series spotlights international creative professionals and brings together the very best speakers to discuss everything from typography to creative entrepreneurship with tomorrow’s thought leaders.
We caught up with Jennette Snape, ADC Ambassador in the Netherlands to find out more about the ADC Talks Amsterdam Series.
What’s the story behind the ADC?
ADC is committed to championing the importance of artistry and craftsmanship in advertising and design. ADC brings together the best minds in the global creative industries while also helping the next generation of creative leaders rise up.
Why did you get involved?
I met Ignacio [Executive Director of ADC] on a trip to NYC and I immediately connected with his ambitious vision and drive to dramatically change the industry. I felt there was a huge opportunity to collaborate and exchange our networks between New York and the Netherlands.
Who should attend the Talks and what can they expect to get out of it?
With ADC Talks Amsterdam series, we aim to highlight the work and creativity that puts the Netherlands on the global map and champions tomorrow’s thought leaders in creative communication. Every talk will offer a different focus and present a cross section of creative disciplines.
Join Jurjen Versteeg, Ashley Govers and Wouter Keijzer from film and design studio From Form as they present their work and offer a peek behind the scenes of their award-winning studio. From Form, winners of ADC Young Guns, have been through challenging times and amazing highs, and they will share what they've learnt along the way and reveal how they developed and maintained their signature style.
Don't miss this chance to learn from their experiences.
